The hardcopy version of the new Hero sixth edition arrived today - I bought the bundle of the 2 books plus the PDF versions of same, but haven't got around to reading the PDFs yet - I prefer hardcopy. That flew in under the radar (released 19 August) - I only found out about it on the DriveThruRPG newsletter I got today - and I frequent the Hero forums daily.
I guess they can't be bothered announcing things in the areas I frequent.

Nevertheless I'm buying it - even though it's only available as a PDF so far.

I just saw this over on the boards and I thought it's a good example of how a system that is all building blocks, could be used to simulate non-standard powers in a roleplaying setting. i.e. the spells of Harry Potter.
